![]() ![]() We don’t have enough happiness in the world. When I look at this cow, there is something about her that makes me smile. This article said that Chalk and Milk Paints had put it before their 24,000 members to go purchase one, place it in your house, post your picture on their site, and give the cow a name. Once home, I googled my cow picture that I’m unsure of, and this is what I came up with. (you may have to copy and paste) I knew as soon as I got home, I would google that cow picture. I took a picture of it laying in the seat of the truck, and eased into driving and thinking. As I was driving the 36 miles back home, I began to wonder exactly why this cow picture was so popular. At first I didn’t see it….but then I saw the edge of what I thought a smiling cow might look like….top shelf of course. Even though I had more important things to do, I drove to the one last DG for today. It was a cow very similar…did not purchase! I knew of one more DG within 1/2 mile. They had one, but it was $40 and wasn’t a smiling cow. I went to every Dollar General store along a stretch of 35 miles of road even hitting a Family Dollar. Someone said that it was also available at Hobby Lobby. Still not really knowing what the hoopla was about, I set on a journey to find my cow picture. I looked through tons of pictures and found a few of this cow. In the thread of comments, someone gave the name of a page called Chalk and Milk Paint Projects that upon researching I found to be a closed group. ![]() I looked down through the comments and learned that it is in fact a canvas picture sold at DG stores. However ocassionally I run across a picture she has shared that I happen to like. I really can’t tell you much about her page nor can I tell you much about her. We all have our quirks, right?Ī few days ago I noticed this picture on a page I follow- junNxtaposition. But if you did know me, I think you would think I’m extremely eccentric or maybe not. I’m just another chicken lady you follow on Facebook. I realize you don’t know me all that well. ![]()
